The advantages of decoction over infusions are the preservation of the amount of biologically active substances, the absence of changes in composition due to the absence of direct exposure to high temperature. The finished broth needs to be cooled and lotions or compresses made. The latter are distinguished by a long exposure time - 20-40 minutes. Infusion. Pour boiling water over the crushed leaves and leave for 20 minutes to infuse.

The last two remedies are usually used for topical treatment of hemorrhoids at home. They are suitable for preparing sitz baths, microenemas, compresses, tampons, and lotions.
